Homeaglow Community Guidelines
Welcome to Homeaglow’s Community Guidelines! We're committed to providing a safe and pleasant experience for all users of our platform. To ensure that the Homeaglow community remains a trusted and safe space, we ask that you adhere to these Community Guidelines. By using our services, you agree to abide by these rules.
1. Respect and Courtesy
- Treat all users, including cleaning professionals and customers, with respect and courtesy.
- Avoid any form of harassment, discrimination, or offensive behavior. Keep conversations and interactions professional and polite.
2. Privacy and Confidentiality
- Respect the privacy and confidentiality of others. Protect your own privacy as well.
- Do not share personal information such as addresses, phone numbers, or financial information outside of the platform’s application.
3. Zero Tolerance Policy
- We have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or violence.
- Any violation of this policy may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal from our platform.
4. Weapons & Firearms

Homeaglow’s terms of service prohibits customers and their guests, as well as Cleaning Professionals, from carrying firearms or weapons of any kind during the time that a Cleaning Professional is in the home of a customer.

Any report of firearms or a weapon being present during a cleaning may result in additional actions, including account termination.
5. Booking and Payments
- Use the Homeaglow platform for all bookings and payments. Avoid making direct payments to cleaner professionals outside of our system.
- If any changes are needed to your booking, communicate through our platform and notify the cleaner provider promptly.
6. Safety and Hygiene
- Cleaner professionals must maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene while performing their duties.
- Customers must ensure a safe and accessible environment for Cleaner professionals to work in. Clear any hazards or obstacles.
7. Communication
- Use our messaging system for all communication related to bookings, changes, or inquiries.
- If you encounter any issues during a cleaning service, contact our support team first for assistance and resolution.
8. Reviews and Feedback
- Provide honest and constructive feedback about your cleaning experience through our review system. Be fair and specific in your comments.
- Do not engage in review manipulation, including fake reviews or attempts to damage the reputation of others.
9. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Be respectful of each other's time. If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, do so with ample notice to minimize inconvenience.
- Cleaner professionals should offer flexible rescheduling options when available.
10. Reporting Violations
- If you encounter behavior that violates these guidelines or suspect fraudulent activity, report it immediately.
- We take all reports seriously and will take appropriate action to address reported violations.
11. Compliance with Laws
- All users must comply with local laws and regulations.

13. Off-Platform Appointments

To improve the safety of every interaction, appointments arranged outside the Homeaglow platform are not allowed. Soliciting or accepting payment outside of the Homeaglow platform is against our community guidelines, so never engage in such practices as Homeaglow reserves the right to remove accounts where a confirmed off platform transaction occurred.

Clients should not pay for services in cash, and they should not request services from cleaning professionals outside of the Homeaglow platform.
14. Fraudulent Activities
- Engaging in fraudulent activities undermines trust and the integrity of the Homeaglow platform.
- Such activities include, but are not limited to: accepting cleaning appointments without the intention of completing them, or provoking clients to cancel for dishonest reasons; creating fake accounts to exploit the platform; falsely claiming to have completed a cleaning without performing the service; performing a cleaning but withholding part or all of the payment without delivering the full service; manipulating the Homeaglow platform's functionality, such as altering phone settings to interfere with its operation; misusing promotions or not using them as intended; disputing charges for invalid reasons; creating improper duplicate accounts; or falsifying documents, records, or other data for deceitful purposes.
15. False Identity and Unauthorized Helpers
- All cleaning professionals must complete their services using their verified Homeaglow accounts. Misrepresenting your identity or allowing someone else to perform services under your account is strictly prohibited
- Each service must be completed by the account holder, and no helpers or additional individuals are allowed to perform tasks on the platform. Ensuring that only verified cleaning professionals complete services helps maintain the quality and trust of the Homeaglow community.
16. Continuous Improvement
- We are committed to continuously improving our platform and services. Your feedback and suggestions are valuable in helping us enhance the Homeaglow experience.
- Failure to adhere to these Community Guidelines may result in consequences ranging from warnings and account suspension to permanent removal from our platform, depending on the severity and frequency of the violation.
